Man United Target Rejects Arsenal Proposal
Viktor Gyokeres has declined a transfer to Arsenal as the Gunners have intensified their interest in the striker from Sporting Club. Gyokeres, who has been in outstanding form for both his club and country, has caught the attention of top European clubs, particularly Manchester United, thanks to his remarkable performances.

Last season marked his first with Sporting Club, where he quickly established himself as a key player, although some were sceptical and believed he might be a one-season wonder. However, Gyokeres has continued to excel this season, proving that he is no flash in the pan. He is now on track to break the record for the most goals scored in a single season across all competitions, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.
Despite his remarkable form, Arsenal’s approach to sign Gyokeres in the January transfer window has been rejected. According to a report by Fichajes, the Swedish forward is focused on helping Sporting Club achieve their goals for the rest of the season and is not considering a move away at this moment. This decision likely means that Arsenal will need to wait until the summer to make another attempt at signing the striker, though they face stiff competition from other top clubs like Man United that will undoubtedly be in the race for his signature.
Manchester United are potentially ahead in the race for Viktor Gyokeres with new head coach Ruben Amorim a big fan of his former Sporting Lisbon gunman. Any move at this stage could only materialise next summer transfer window.
