Man United Receives Leny Yoro Injury Update

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim remains cautiously optimistic after rising defensive star Leny Yoro suffered an injury scare during the club’s 2-1 Premier League win over West Ham.

Yoro, who has become a key figure in United’s backline since returning from a pre-season metatarsal injury, was forced off early in the second half after appearing to injure his left foot.

The 19-year-old was seen limping as he exited the pitch and headed straight down the tunnel, replaced by Harry Maguire.

Although Yoro returned to the dressing room unaided and without a protective boot, his body language sparked concern among fans and coaching staff alike.

However, Amorim offered a glimmer of hope in his post-match press conference, stating:
“We have to assess Leny in a better way. He felt something, but it could be a small thing.”

With just ten days to go until Manchester United face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final at the iconic San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, any serious injury to Yoro would be a significant blow.

The young Frenchman has established himself as a starter in Amorim’s back-three system, bringing composure, pace, and physical presence to the heart of defence.

Despite the initial concerns, the latest indications suggest Yoro could recover in time to feature in the highly anticipated final on May 22. His availability would be a major boost to United’s hopes of clinching European silverware in what has been a turbulent but promising first season under Amorim.

Medical assessments over the coming days will provide more clarity on Yoro’s condition, but for now, United fans can remain hopeful that their defensive prodigy will be ready to play under the lights in Bilbao.
