Agreement Reached With Manchester United For £10m Summer Transfer

Manchester United activated their club option in Hannibal’s contract at the turn of the year. The combative midfielder is contracted to the Red Devils for the 2024/25 season, though they no longer have the safety net of the option to fall back on beyond that.

Hannibal Mejbri always wanted more game time this season after his short loan-spell at Sevilla last season. Manchester United have agreed the sale of Hannibal Mejbri to Burnley on a permanent transfer, with medicals already scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

The midfielder signed for the Red Devils from Monaco in 2019 in a deal worth a potential £9million and he his set to depart on similar terms for £9.5m to newly relegated side Burnley.
