Dortmund’s approach focuses on giving these young stars the much-needed first-team action before potentially selling them for a substantial profit in the future.
Manchester United Stance on Dan Gore

The midfielder was part of the senior squad for during their Europa League clash at Porto under Erik ten Hag this term.
Gore has worked his way back from a preseason injury, having also struggled with setbacks last term on-loan at Port Vale.
The youngster captained the U21s against Salford City upon his return from injury and he has never looked back since, and he trains frequently with the senior squad.
Ruben Amorim recently visited the Academy to watch the U21s play over the weekend. Dan Gore was once again the standout performer, netting once, and creating double for his teammates with the captain handband on.
United management is convinced Gore can eventually follow FA Youth Cup-winning teammate Kobbie Mainoo into the senior team once fully fit.
Borussia Dortmund would have a lot of work to do if they were to persuade Gore to make a move to Germany and become a part of the project for the present and future.
