Manchester United Appoint Ameesh Manek as Director of Football Operations

Manchester United have agreed to appoint Ameesh Manek as the club’s new Director of Football Operations, continuing the significant restructure of their executive team under the leadership of CEO Omar Berrada and minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Manek, who was the Chief Operating Officer at Brentford, will make the move to Old Trafford to take on a senior position that will focus on the day-to-day running of the club’s football operations. Staff at both Manchester United and Brentford were reportedly informed of the decision on Wednesday.

The appointment marks the latest high-profile executive to join United as part of the new football structure, following the arrivals of Berrada from Manchester City and Jason Wilcox as Technical Director.
