Man United Set to Receive Fresh £154M Cash Injection
Manchester United Secure Major Transfer Windfall in Summer Window

Manchester United have reportedly generated a significant transfer income this summer, with guaranteed fees totaling £90 million and a further £64 million in potential future add-ons also agreed upon.
This financial boost comes as the club’s new footballing structure, led by INEOS, looks to streamline the squad and adhere to Financial Fair Play regulations.
According to reports from journalist Rich Fay, the guaranteed figure is largely comprised of the sales of two key players.
Alejandro Garnacho’s move to Chelsea is understood to be the most significant deal, with a reported guaranteed fee of £40 million. A notable detail of this transfer is the inclusion of a 10 percent sell-on clause, which could see United profit further from any future sale of the young Argentine winger.
The other major sale is that of Brazilian winger Antony, who has made a permanent return to Real Betis. This deal is reported to be worth a fixed fee of £21.6 million, with an additional £2.6 million in performance-related add-ons.
The agreement also includes a 50 percent sell-on clause on any profit Betis makes from a future transfer, providing another potential source of income for the Red Devils.
These sales, alongside other player departures and loan agreements, have allowed Manchester United to bring in substantial funds this summer, giving them greater flexibility in the market as they look to build a squad that can compete for top honors.
The focus on securing guaranteed fees while also negotiating for future add-ons and sell-on clauses demonstrates a more strategic approach to player transactions.
Manchester United’s experience shift in transfer policy, moving away from high-profile, high-spending acquisitions to a more calculated and sustainable model.
The focus on player sales to generate revenue is a key part of this strategy, as the club aims to improve its financial health and build a squad capable of sustained success.
