Man Utd Striker Completes Medicals Ahead Of Summer Move

The Red Devils have been active this summer in strengthening their squad and adding quality players.

They have so far signed striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair from Bayern Munich and defender Leny Yoro from Lille but more players are expected to arrive at Old Trafford.

Manchester United complete move for Chido Obi-Martin

Manchester United struck a deal to sign highly-rated striker Chido Obi-Martin following his departure from Arsenal, according to reports.

Arsenal confirmed last week that Obi-Martin had left the club after rejecting a contract offer from the Gunners.

The 16-year-old striker was regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the Arsenal youth ranks, scoring 32 goals for the club last season – including 10 in one game against Liverpool.

Arsenal wanted to keep hold of the teenager and were surprised he decided to leave after being offered a deal they believed to be ‘fair’.

Chido Obi-Martin pass medical test

The report from Skysport states that Obi-Martin has now passed his Manchester United medicals with terms agreed.

Terms have been agreed with the star – who has been dubbed with having ‘insane pace’ – after he announced his departure from Arsenal in late July, and despite having offers from the Gunners and from Bundesliga clubs, the youngster will make the move to Old Trafford in a bid to continue his development at the highest order.

The signing of Obi-Martin is a huge statement from the Red Devils, who convinced the striker to join the club over staying at Arsenal.

Manchester United are expected to get Premier League greenlight this week to formerly announce his signing.
