Manchester United Possible starting XI Against Brentford

In the wake of the embarrassing defeat to Galatasaray in their previous match at Old Trafford, Erik Ten Hag will seek to make adjustments to the Manchester United starting lineup when they face Brentford.

Manchester United, under the guidance of Erik Ten Hag, have encountered a total of 16 different injuries among their senior squad members, which have hindered their progress this season. Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo, Sergio Reguilon, Mason Mount, Rasmus Højlund, Sofyan Amrabat, and Harry Maguire have all been plagued by various injuries since the beginning of the season.

Sofyan Amrabat and Mason Mount only recently returned to action, with Rasmus Højlund making his comeback a couple of weeks ago while still wearing a back support. Following his return from injury, Sofyan Amrabat has filled in at left back, covering for the injured Sergio Reguilon, who was brought in to replace the sidelined Luke Shaw and Malacia.

Although Sofyan Amrabat initially appeared comfortable in that position during his first appearance, he has since struggled to replicate the same level of performance. Opposing managers have targeted his left back position due to his deficiencies in that area.

Erik Ten Hag may opt for a different change in the starting lineup that suffered a defeat at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. Antony Santos, who only resumed training last week, is expected to be included in the starting XI for tomorrow’s match against Brentford.

With Sergio Reguilon still unfit to play against Brentford, it is possible that Sofyan Amrabat will continue to feature in that position. Additionally, Andre Onana, who has been lacking in confidence, could also make an appearance to help him regain his balance following a costly error against Galatasaray.

The potential starting lineup could be as follows: André Onana, Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Amrabat, Casemiro, Mason Mount, Bruno Fernandes, Antony, Rashford, and Rasmus Højlund.
