Manchester United Player Ratings Against Brentford

In a reminiscent afternoon comparable to their encounter against Crystal Palace just over a week prior, Manchester United found themselves facing another arduous challenge.

Despite dominating possession for a considerable period in the first half, Manchester United conceded and appeared to be the more threatening team. However, Brentford proved to be an indomitable force, withstanding the relentless attacks launched by Manchester United. It wasn’t until the dying moments of the game, when Scott McTominay struck twice, that Manchester United managed to secure a victory.

Below, you will find the player ratings for their performances against Brentford:

Goalkeeper: André Onana 5/10

Similar to his previous game, where he struggled to retain possession and let the ball slip, André Onana’s lapse allowed Brentford to take the lead in the first half. However, he redeemed himself with two crucial saves in the latter stages of the game, ensuring that Manchester United stayed in contention.

Right Back: Diogo Dalot 7/10

Center Back: Harry Maguire 8/10

Center Back: Jonny Evans 7/10

Jonny Evans showcased his wealth of experience throughout the game, demonstrating excellent ball distribution from Manchester United’s defensive half. It was a decent performance from Evans.

Central Midfield: Sofyan Amrabat 6.5/10

Sofyan Amrabat delivered a solid performance, covering a significant amount of ground for Manchester United.

Attacking Midfield: Mason Mount 5/10

Mason Mount struggled to find his rhythm and failed to string his actions together throughout the game, resulting in a below-par performance.

Right Wing: Bruno Fernandes 6.5/10
