Revealed: Antwerp Asking Price for Senne Lammens Amid Man Utd Interest

Manchester United Eyeing Senne Lammens in Goalkeeper Reinforcement Drive

Manchester United have reportedly opened initial talks with Royal Antwerp for the transfer of highly-rated Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens, as they seek to bolster their options between the sticks.

The Red Devils are looking to add depth and competition, particularly with Andre Onana currently sidelined with an injury.

Lammens, a 23-year-old shot-stopper, has garnered significant attention across Europe for his impressive performances in the Belgian Pro League.

Lammens physicality, command of his area, and sharp reflexes have made him one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Belgium.

Sources close to the negotiations suggest that Royal Antwerp are seeking a transfer fee in the region of £17 million to £20 million (approximately €20 million to €23.5 million) for Lammens.

Antwerp’s sporting director, Marc Overmars, has publicly acknowledged the likelihood of Lammens’ departure this summer, stating, “The transfer of Senne Lammens has to happen, because we’ve already signed his replacement.”

This indicates a readiness from the Belgian club to facilitate a move for their prized asset.

While Manchester United are certainly “in the hunt,” they face competition from other Premier League clubs, including Leeds United, who are said to be further along in their pursuit and potentially view Lammens as a guaranteed number one.

United will firm up their interest with a concrete bid, but the initial talks signal their intent to address the goalkeeping department with a talented young prospect.
