PSG Forward Turns down Man United Summer Move

Oumar Camara Snubs Manchester United Move Amid Interest Elsewhere

Manchester United have suffered a blow in their summer youth recruitment plans as highly-rated youngster Oumar Camara has decided against a move to Old Trafford.

According to sources close to the player, Camara believes there are more promising opportunities elsewhere, including a clearer and quicker path to first-team football.

The decision comes as a setback to United’s ongoing efforts to rejuvenate their youth setup under the guidance of newly appointed technical director Christopher Vivell.

Vivell, known for his expertise in youth development and scouting during his time at RB Leipzig, is expected to play a pivotal role in identifying and securing top young talents for United this summer.

Camara had been on United’s radar for several months, with scouts impressed by his performances at youth level. However, despite United’s interest and reputation for developing young talent, Camara and his representatives felt that the competition and current structure at the club did not offer the most direct route to senior football.

United remain committed to strengthening their academy and youth ranks, especially with Vivell’s arrival expected to bring a more strategic and global approach to talent acquisition.

Club insiders suggest the focus will now shift to alternative targets, with United continuing to scout both domestically and across Europe for emerging prospects.
