Man Utd Reach Agreements on Personal Terms for Another Summer Signing
Manchester United Close to Lammens Deal, But Club-to-Club Agreement Still Pending

Manchester United’s pursuit of a new goalkeeper has taken a significant step forward, with reports indicating that the club has agreed on personal terms with Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens.
But, a transfer is not yet finalized as the two clubs remain locked in negotiations over a transfer fee.
The 23-year-old Belgian international has been a long-term target for the Old Trafford hierarchy, who view him as a potential challenger to Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.
Lammens has had a breakout season for Royal Antwerp, establishing himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper and earning a call-up to the senior Belgian national team.
While United and Lammens’ representatives have reportedly reached a consensus on the player’s contract, the sticking point remains the transfer fee.
Royal Antwerp are holding out for a fee in the region of €20 million, with some sources suggesting they are demanding as high as €25 million.
Manchester United, on the other hand, is believed to have made an initial offer of around €17 million plus add-ons.
With the transfer window’s deadline rapidly approaching, the pressure is on both clubs to find a compromise. Lammens has reportedly been left out of Royal Antwerp’s recent squads, a clear sign that the Belgian club is prepared for his departure.
Despite the progress with Lammens, Manchester United are also said to have a backup plan in place. Sources indicate that they are also in discussions with Aston Villa regarding a potential deal for Emiliano MartÃnez, should the negotiations for Lammens fall through.
The situation is set to go down to the wire as United attempts to finalize a deal for the highly-rated Belgian goalkeeper.
